A Few Words About Who I am
Thanks for asking. My name is Donnie Jones and I am a native of Southern California, San Diego to be precise. But I know the travel route between CA & Texas very well as I've spent time living in both areas since the age of 14. After High School, I joined the military and am now a veteran of the US Air Force. I landed my first job with an investment firm directly out of college at Texas A&M University - Commerce. And launched D.E. Jones Financial Management in 2010. But I guess my greatest achievement would be being a father to 3 incredible humans that consistently teach me how to be a better person.
The seed to start D.E. Jones Financial spawned from working in the investment field. Even though there were clients that were management in the energy sector with several millions to retire on, they weren't concerned about portfolio growth. Their main questions revolved around taxes - how would the taxes work and how do they curb the tax hit when they start taking distributions. That's when I realized even the smartest engineers at ExxonMobil didn't have a clue about their own financial situation.
As a self proclaimed workaholic, you can find me most days at my computer, tweaking AI systems, or researching on the many different ways that my business and my client's business can improve.
